The Farm
Sugarbush Alpacas is located on a picturesque hillside in Stowe, VT. The barn backs up to our Sugarbush where we tap trees in late March to produce our own Maple Syrup.
Sugarbush Alpacas breeds and sells high quality Huacaya Alpacas and are consistently researching to “Breed-Up” our females for the highest quality fiber.
We believe that now is the time to build an Alpaca livestock business since the pricing has stabilized and people world wide are looking for a simpler, less stressful lifestyle that is filled with nature’s basics. We believe that breeding Alpacas is a perfect fit. Alpacas give the investor a special “return on investment” in the form of breeding, stud fees and selling the animal for fiber. The fleece that the Alpaca produces is six times warmer than wool and softer than cashmere.
Alpacas are easy to raise, safe and friendly to all ages. They are a perfect fit for anyone working part-time, full-time or retired from the working world.
